user reviews of the Three Horseshoes, Towersey

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I've always had a friendly reception in this pub, but then I'm a regular occasional visitor (used to be more regular when I lived closer). The beer is excellent, there's lots of room and the pub is well furnished and looked after. The last time I was here in June, it was a beautiful hot Tuesday evening and the garden was full on every table.

It's even more heavingly busy over August Bank Holiday Weekend, when the pubs hosts music and song sessions and dance displays (mostly morris, but often other things too) as part of Towersey Village Festival.

This pub has so much unrealised potential, but is let down by the general apathy shown by the bar staff (possibly the Landlord/lady?).

A welcome greeting, or fare well is a common courtesay and good business practice. Was disappointed at the poor level of customer service; Example - whilst waiting for service, having bar staff attend to you by ignoring you, and saying to the other "serve this guy will you".

Reasonable prices, great beer, but wine could be 'chilled properly' however.
