| We did bed and breakfast here. The downstairs pub is fine. Ale is fine with a reasonable choice. But the hotel is a mare. They messed up our booking. And talking about messes...the room...oh dear. Dirty. Beyond redecoration. Obvious signs that our room had been burgled...from the side window and the corridor door. Breakfast was plentiful, but quite greasey. And with this in mind the price of the room was a complete rip off at £85. Have a drink here. Do not stay here. The score of 5 is for the pub! tski - 10 Jun 2008 22:00 |
| Needham Market is a sorry place to search for real ales and a disaster for a lager drinker! Green King rules the roost here and sometimes a nice IPA is available!? Again unfortunately for lager consumers nothing but the usual suspects on draft, tasteless BIG name brands stacked full of additives, lovely! Occasionally there is a “choice” ale…….Be lucky! Apparently the music nights are a great event; it does reasonable food (Two meals for price of one on Tuesdays), plenty of parking and plenty of room to seat and chat! Inside it is a lovely bar (Bugs Bar) and the bar staff are always pleasant as it shares itself with the Limes Hotel. Jammahn - 28 Oct 2007 13:59 |
