please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Due to so many Pubs closing around it,I think this Pub is now the last one you will visit, if doing the " Mumbles Mile ". So I can understand their door policy, especially as it has been completely refurbished, and does look nice from the outside. I've not been in here though, so cannot comment on the Pub itself.

agree with the last comment, group of 6 of us tried to get in once on a crawl, we weren't drunk yet but they wouldn't let more than a group of 5 in. WTF's the point in that? It only takes 1 person to start trouble, whats the difference. They could have had £50-60 off us that night, silly tossers.

Looks good from the outside but not student friendly AT ALL! Won't let groups of people in unless your over 30 and are not polite about it! If you do manage to scam your way in you'll realise it wasn't woth it! Expensive drinks and a snooty atmposphere! Enter at your own risk!

Has been done up and made trendy - now called Salt @ The George. Very good general pub with good range of food and excellent Brains beers
