| Well, as I actually LIVE in Swansea, and also know Suzie from her other pubs ( White Rose, Newton Inn )therefore, I feel I am well qualified to comment on the atmosphere in her current Pub, and we called in there on a Friday ( not a Wednesday )and it was not what I expected, sorry to disagree, but that was my opinion on the night we called in here...I'm glad you enjoy it there, but I won't be going back in a hurry !!! | Sorry have to disagree with Duncan, we holiday in the Mumbles and have always found The Village to be a very friendly pub, Suzie the landlady is great as are the staff. Fantastic Karaoke on Wednesday with Teresa and Linda and the food is first class. If you don't stay in the pub I don't think you can really pass a valid report. | Pretty dark inside, with a very strange and uncomfortable feeling, when we walked in here on a Friday night, I got the impression it was a very " clique " place, not very friendly at all. We never bought a Drink, so cannot say anything about prices etc....... DuncanDisorderly - 3 Feb 2007 23:31 |
