| When I work away from home in York I often stay here. The rooms are very good value, clean and comfortable. The food is home cooked and also good value. | A nice enough, local's pub. You can wander in, get a drink, and play pool, but at the same time you are aware that this isn't your local. All the regulars are chatting to each other around the bar, and you are certainly on the outside. But by no means the worst place in York. And pretty cheap. alistair_cross - 5 Feb 2006 18:44 |
