please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I enjoy going here, but its more of a cafe than a pub. The food is great, so are the coffees. It draws the pre- and after-cinema crowd and has a lovely balcony on the riverside (but high up so don't worry about river levels!) I took refuge here one day when there was a sudden downpour and it was great to watch the lightening and heavy rain through the glass, in the warm with a hot drink.

Fairly nice, modern bar, located in the centre of town in the City Screen cinema. Pleasant surroundings, with giant glass windows looking out onto the River Oose, serving nice beers, wine and cocktails.
