| Arcadia has created a bit of a problem for itself with the extension. It's now twice the size but the bar is the same size as it was before. The queues at the bar on a Friday and Saturday night can be extensive (10-15 minutes to get served). They have started to do some table service I think to mitigate the problem. | As has been said looks nothing special from the outside but worth going in. Usually 4 or 5 cask ales at the bar and some contintental beers, friendly staff and customers and a nice chilled atmosphere. Can get quite full but they plan to extend into next door. MBMan - 27 Aug 2009 23:35 |
| 3 Years since my last review so here's an update: Still a great selection of real ales and continental beers to tempt the connoisseur, ranging in ABV from less the 4 to 10.5; all kept well and served by friendly staff. Free daily papers, books and games are available if you want to entertain yourselves whilst sampling the delights on offer and if you want to use your laptop, there is free wi-fi too.
