| Called into this pub the other evening, and what a surprise it was! The locals are quite friendly. the landlord was old school,(geoff)and one of the friendliest bar manager's you could ever want to meet. certainly makes a change, to be greeted with a warm and lovely smile. A word of warning though, this is one of the most expensive pubs in surrey. They have a thai restaurant, but they serve sunday roast's I will definitely be going back, even if only to receive that warm welcome again! more_beer - 6 Jun 2008 17:52 |

| The smoking ban has seen this pub refurbished for the better. Now nice and bright, rather then the tired smokey pea souper it once was. Harvey's Best Bitter (a regular guest) was spot on. Nice little garden to sit and watch the ducks swimming past. A good refuelling point when on an extended pub jaunt along the Wey Navigation. nevardmedia - 18 Feb 2008 13:19 |
