| Pub now re-opened with new managers.Had Pedigree and Landlord on the pumps.Went for the Landlord and it was superb.Had log fire burning which was nice as the weather now is getting nippy.I hope this manager does well as I think the last licensee did a runner.Didnt sample the food but menu is usual pubchain fare at usual pubchain prices.Hadnt been in the Horseshoes for 20+years but will call again.Nice to see it open again. peon - 24 Sep 2009 14:18 |
| Top little pub between Alfreton and Matlock, nice ales on tap, friendly cosy feel. Good food too, I had an amazing steak and ale pie, although the veg could have been better.
