Good for food, watching television on the big screen, comfortable chairs and Lager. Only problem is the Bitter! Badly served and poorly kept; best pop around, as has been said before, to the Prince of Wales around the corner.

Had a pint of 'Wandle' in there last night, it really wasn't in good condition. Toyed with trying a pint of the other real ale on offer, Sharps Doombar, but decided against it. Glad now I didn't after the last post. Much better beer round the corner in the Prince of Wales!

This used to be one of my favorite pubs; well postioned, good service, clean, comfortable and fine food and drink. The Lager is still okay, however, why, oh why is nothing being done to serve up good Ale? Having visited for a pint or two this week, my first pint was vinegar, Doombar, which I pointed out was off and had changed. The replacement too was off too. Why spoil the success of a pleasant pub by neglect of the Ale? Especially with the Prince of Wales around the corner who always serve good Ale. Get it sorted please?

Not too bad really. Open-plan, modern, perhaps soulless. Had a good pair of ales though; Sharp's Doom Bar and TT Landlord, both served well. Function room upstairs
