The best pub in Looe, which isn't much of an accolade, and the only one in town prepared to deviate from the Doom Bar/Tribute axis of conformity. Great sunny beer terrace out front providing you can tune out the busy A road between you and the estuary.

On the way out of town but an easy stroll and surprisingly the only pub in East Looe with a view.Decent beer and worth a visit.

Pleasant atmosphere, in need of traditional pub food! Ate there 18 months ago and the food was home made, good quality grub! A little disappointed to see that there was only pies available this visit! Good beer, friendly staff and included on the real ale trail!

Conveniently situated just opposite the station, this is a single room pub that manages to fit in a whole range of styles. At one end there’s an area more geared up for dining with attractive exposed stonework. It then runs through a conventional lounge bar in the middle in to a sports bar at the opposite end with a pool table and a dart board.

There’s a reasonable sized patio out the front, which was a popular spot on a recent Sunday afternoon visit. There’s a number of flower troughs around the edge, and the ashtrays are made from scallop shells, just to remind you that you’re in Cornwall’s second biggest fishing port.

Beers on offer were Skinner’s Betty Stogs, Doom Bar and Tribute. Ciders were Blackthorn and Cornsh Rattler.

Very friendly pub with freindly pub dog. Good pint of Tribute. Several friendly locals drinking. Food currently only seems to be Pukka pies on the bar at a fair price.
