| The pub is now open again and has gone back to its original name of The Anchor. The new management has abandoned Sky Sports as a crowd puller and is trying to rebuild the pub's original reputation as a village pub, with a quiet lounge bar and a public bar aimed at the younger market with Darts, Pool and Poker. Live music is planned every two weeks, and there's an opening party on the 19th September with a live act, a free buffet and a free local taxi home. Worth a visit. jonesgm999 - 10 Sep 2009 16:53 |

| This pub has recently changed hands. On a Sunday it does a lovely roast. My kids loved it too. Child friendly. If you haven't been in recently give it another chance, we did. boobear - 26 Mar 2008 21:44 |
