| Have travelled country watching footie and this is literally the worst pub have ever been in, dirty and smelly inside, staff rude and arrogant and full of inbred nutters whom never seem to venture out of blackwater. At the end of the evening (of what seemed an eternity) the landlady stood up, just from being hammered, and shouted I have had your f'in money so now all f**k off you c**ts!! Nice. | Quality pub, not. Had 30 mins before my train, so went for a pint. Choice of here of Mr Bumble across the road. Went in here. It was early, and only half a dozen people inside. First choice lager was out, so opted for Carling. A few menacing blokes wnadering 'round on their mobiles, and the landlady's daughter(?) and friend were discussing her recent arrest for assaulting a police officer. Nice. Couldn't drink my beer from the minging glass. The head disappeared almost immediately, the beer was flat, and the taste, plain awful. Will I be back? | this pub could do so much better very samll quantaty of beers and spirits run's out easely makeing the selection very small. In its favour it has one of the better smoking areas i have seen with outside heaters and outside TV, so you can enjoy a pint and a fag and still watch the match!!! tommo7018 - 9 Nov 2007 13:54 |
