| We,ve just got back from our 2nd visit this year and I have to say it was brilliant, The Five Lions is a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are excellent and the staff are fantastic. The pub itself is so central to everywhere within York and we have booked to go back again just before christmas and I dare say we,l be going again next year. | A fairly local pub, but pleasant enough for visitors. Often has the football on large screens in my experience, which can be off putting, but great if that is what you like!! They also do rooms and have hand pulled ales as I recall. alistair_cross - 13 Dec 2005 18:24 |
