Lunch today. Reasonable selection of cask beers. Marston's Pedigree was good but not great.
Centuries old coaching inn - looks great from the outside but now run by a chain and had the interior 'standardised' - clean but no atmosphere.
Food was fair to middling - roast potatoes must have been cooked at braekfast time - almost liquid inside!

What a shame - its a nice building but the decorators wrecked it a few years ago and its lost all its atmosphere. Got live music on a Friday, but iot just attracts the yobs. Foodies have taken over really, or people staying the night. Got real ales, but a very strange manager called John. He made it clear that he doesnt like us girls in 'his' pub!

Been today for lunch, great selection of cask ales and the food was really tasty.

Had the chefs game pie and the lady had a bruschetta.

The breads were tasty too.

Glad to see the place turned around from what it was.
