Well situated pub, with a pool table, dart board and 3 large flat screen TV’s and even a TV in the garden supplying a great atmosphere for any sporting event at no extra cost to the customer, with entertainment every weekend – Karaoke, Live Bands, DJ, and Live Sports. Hot food served throughout the day with a large selection of Beers, Lagers, Spirits and Wines served by friendly staff and in a welcoming environment at a great price! An added bonus is the large garden with barbeque ideal for summer days and children. dc290177 - 25 Sep 2008 13:14
nice little pub me and my boyfriend went there for a quiet night, but didnt think it would literally be just that, especially on a Friday, bar staff were quite rude except the little one, and i could have died of thirst by the time i actually got my drink. i dont think it is a regulars pub and that may be the problem, shame though would be a nice spot for a laugh if you had the right crowd. barmaid_of_the_year - 2 Sep 2008 17:06
Thought this pub was ok but not great, the food was really good but thought the service wasnt great and the bar staff have about as much life in them than a carrot. Some of the regulars were freindly but others just seemed like they didnt want you in there pub. This is'nt what i would call a booming pub there never seems to be many people around only time is early evenings when the truckers are having there dinner. The land lady always seems to be in a constant bad mood but the landlord is quite friendly but overall its ok at best but wouldnt be making this pub my regular. Paul_Maxwell11 - 24 Aug 2008 00:21
Wonderful family ran pub. There is a large variety of cheaply priced drinks on offer, marvelous bar staff, great food and the locals are always on hand to chat away to anyone and make you feel welcome. A+ . Will definately go there again. lillithepink - 8 Jun 2007 16:31
