| Booked this place at last minute because many restaurants not open MOnday evenings. Beer I had was pretty good (Fawkham Guzzler) from Westerham Brewery and reasonably priced. Mixed feelings about the food because it was quite expensive for what it was, but in the main food was okay. Main criticism would be the lack of potato selection as all we were offered was New, mashed, chipped or jacket when many of the dishes cried out for something a bit more sophisticated. I had veal main course with mash and veg and whilst quite tasty for £17.90 it was £3-£4 too expensive I think. Same with my sons Beef Wellington which at £18.90 was again overpriced although portions were generous. My wifes starter was really bland and for £6.90 it shouldn't have been. Would visit again, but more likely to eat from specials board which was cheaper and seemed better value. meland - 4 May 2010 12:53 |

| I had one of the worst meals here that I have ever had. Had to return my wine twice as it was too warm and my partner returned his beer. We paid over £90 for three of us - over-priced, under value and appalling quality. DEMETER - 4 Jan 2009 20:54 |
