| Beautiful romantic setting for a date due to location, candles on tables etc... I've been a few times and its always been nice but the last time i visited i was slightly disappointed. We waited a long time for a table, then waited to have our order taken for about 20 mins (the staff just seemed like they werent interested at all), then waited an eternity for the food. When it arrivied it wasnt even that good, it was pretty average. The service was terrible. | I would go as far to say, that this is one of the best pubs in the area for food and service. Have been here for a number of years and on each occasion found it first class. Ideal for a group meal or a romantic meal, only downside is sometimes you have to wait a while for a table - we turned up on spec and waited 45 minutes. Scousefire - 11 Oct 2007 08:34 |
| I have come to this pub for a few years now and have found it very pleasant as a non drinker. The food is fantastic, made from very good quality ingredients (especially the mixed grill) and it is very reasonable priced.
