| The Windmill isn't the smartest, trendiest or cheapest of pubs, it doesn't try to be, it's an honest local where almost everyone seems to know everyone else and their business! I've been going there infrequently for the last 20+ years and have never had a problem and have always been made welcome. It's fun to watch the tanked up locals making fools of themselves on the karaoke, nobody cares it's that sort of easy going pub. roostifer - 25 Aug 2009 15:15 |
| As a member of the darts team, and a regular in the pub may i say that any time we get strangers visit, we try to make them as welcome as we can. the bar staff are very friendly to new people (providing the dogs keep quiet... otherwise they may shout a bit!!!!!) but, this is to the dogs NOT the customers. anybody reading this will be welcomed at the pub with pleasure. lumberjack - 10 May 2009 17:09 |
