Awful, Awful, Awful. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. This is a militant gay bar! Aggresive men who when are knocked back get the security to through people out. I took four of my straight friends there (Two couples) who were told to leave by the bouncers due to numerous complaints. When asked the nature of these complaints it was said "you're straight". They were pushed, had drinks thrown on them and spat at by the jeering punters who took ofence to them talking to their girlfriends in public. I'm ashamed that stupid people in our comunity would behave in the same way as the homophobic morons we had to put up with. If thats the way you treat people dont be surprised when people treat you the same. seansean - 26 Jul 2008 15:21
My Dad is still banned from here: in 1954 for playing a practical joke. Used to the Australian Bar; now a gay bar. At least its still serving beer! Dropacog - 11 Dec 2007 16:50
This pub used to be great, great music, nice people however boy has it took a dip! The bar staff (female ones) wouldn't serve my mate due to him been straight now in an area that preaches tollerence and understanding I cannot understand why these people are employed. This has just taken Sexual relations back 10 years when there should be a relaxed happy go lucky view where if you are straight or gay it doesn't matter you are still a person. both myself my gay friends and my straight friends will never be going there again! srhand - 20 Jun 2006 08:10
