Fantastic pub situated right near the station. Great tasting ales and a large selection of ciders and lager. Recently spruced up and a warm friendly greeting upon arrival.

Lots to do with five tv's showing sport, pool tables, dart boards and a rather large garden from what I could see (bit chilly to go exploring too far).

There were some lovely roast potatoes brought out just as I was ordering my pint, don't mind if I do!

Definitely a place to pop into if passing through!

Why is it all pubs named "the Railway Inn" are total rough dives?

We jumped off the train to go in here after a visit to Cardiff and was totally shocked by the place.

At around 5ish everyone in this pub was totally off their faces as if it were midnight at the weekend!

We scurried out to the thankful beer garden which was actually quite pleasant,
but a return visit is extremely unlikely.

Warm and friendly Staff and customers with a great selection of well kept real ales. Huge garden with shelter for us smokers.

There's always something happening here. Most weekends, now that its summer, there is a bbq, as well as a bouncy castle/waterslide for the kids, utilising the huge beer garden. The pub dog is absolutely gorgeous.
