| Shame this one went up in smoke, a fine pub, one to go to for the atmosphere rather than the standard of the beer, one to go to later in the evening, when the taste buds have been tranquilised. | Used this pub quite a bit, had something of the Costas about it. Allegedly, when the fire broke out in Edwards (Which lead to the demolishing of most of the block) it was in the upstairs mens toilets - seeing as how they were always awash with p*** it`s amazing the flames took hold!
