As previous posters have said, a superb pint of Guinness. Great atmosphere with loads of Gaelic Football memorabilia all over the walls. Friendly bar staff. Nice layout with a variety of places to sit. Be careful when going to the toilets as the signs are in Gaelic. "Mna" is the ladies & "Fir" is the gents. Luckily I already knew this!

The finest Guinness outside of Ireland. Excellent and friendly staff. Great jamming sessions. Best pub in Liverpool town centre.

This place deserves a 10/10 for the price of Guinness alone. Besides that, however, it also boasts a wonderful atmosphere - a subtle blend of hibernian influences and bohemian city culture.

I also visited Pogus Mahones for the first time recently. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good it was. Considering it was Friday night, the barmaid still brought our drinks to us, rather than us having to wait at the bar. Great "craic", lovely fires and possibly the best pint of Guiness I've ever had, as well as being cheap (£1.50 a go)!
