Finally found this place to be open. Not withstanding that b1ggy is the landlord blowing his own trumpet and ixus one of his mates, this is actually a nice pub to visit. Most of it given over to dining, with plenty of nooks crannies and alcoves for that purpose, but there is a small bar area and the bees were served in excellent condition. cellarbuoy - 18 May 2012 21:54
What a fantastic find! Lovely little village pub with a friedly and warm welcome from the landlord, we had a superb meal all freshly prepared by the landlady by all accounts and to top it all a fantastic pint of a beer we had never come across before from a local brewery Called MASTERS BREWERY, thier session bitter.....a great beer! We had a fantastic evening and will look forward to visiting again when we are next in the area.....check it out ixus531 - 18 May 2012 08:22

having been ruined by the previous landlord and landlady this pub has been sympathetically restored and is thriving once again. Three good value real ales and a really nice atmospere. Worth checking out. westbound - 17 Oct 2011 13:45
