| I really like this pub, comparing it to many other pubs in the local enfield area, I found the bar staff friendly with a great sense of humour, great atmosphere on every occasion I have visited. They are great for sporting events, especially football and the London Derby days here are fantastic - definatly a good day out if I can't get a ticket for the game!! I will definatly be watching the world cup here as I like the beer garden they have it's a good size and they have a telly outside! great for me and my fellow smokers!! I also happened to be in here on a day when they were raising money for a local boy who wasn't very well, there was a huge turnout for him - good to see the community spirit still alive. a well deserved 10 out of 10 from me - worth popping in to check it out if in the area! | Im guessing the last review was from staff and i'd agree with it all except the very friendly part. The locals dont like anyone walking in who doesnt happen to have been drinking there for the last 40 years or knows someone who has. That's fine, you know, these things happen in pubs. But dont try and fool yourself, or anyone else that you'll be getting any busier for the summer if your 'regulars' have their way.
