Always friendly with an interesting mix of locals. I always try the ESB.

Had a wonderful few pints of Harveys Best in this pub as I had found myself kind of stuck in Hastings - It was a classic cosy, low beamed affair with also an ESB at the bar. The barstaff had a great rapport with the punters (regulars) but were very happy to engage in anyone new entering the pub. I have absolutely no complaints about this pub - very pleased.

Not a bad little pub, the landlady and locals at the bar were friendly and a nice place to have a quiet pint. Harveys Best and ESB on offer.

Lovely, friendly, cosy boozer .... mostly locals ... Slightly spoilt by the rugby as not huge sports fan ... but great service courtesy of lovely barmaid and Harvey's was excellent.

No food on at the moment because neighbours are complaining about the proposed fan / trunking for the re-furbed kitchen.

Still, very much worth a detour to search it out.
