| The Carpenters has changed so much over the last 12 months. It has a really friendly atmosphere for people of all ages. There are plenty of screens for a variety of sport coverages, dart boards and 3 decent pool tables. They have teams in both the Tuesday and Thursday pool leagues and are even competing in the Interleague matches. btw they won the thursday 2nd division pool league and are now in divsion 1. They also have have a decent dj on fridays and more often than not a decent band selection for saturday gigs. The food is very good as far as local pubs go and their food specials are perhaps the best value for money around.
