| If you want to drink late but are too inebriated to gain access to a more reputable establishment and are not that bothered about the quality of the music, this place is for you. Any alternative history of London nightlife would have a chunky chapter on this place - a legendary venue and the probable successor to the gin palaces of Victorian times. | One of the original Hoxton bars. This place was knocking out pints of red stripe when most of the the current skinny jeaned hoxtonista's who frequent this area were starting school.
