Second on tour home & getting to know area. I like this pub its very homely and what I expected of a country pub. Very much on the list to re-visit. Beermaid - 3 Sep 2010 19:15
Nice scenic county pub with two bars doing Adnams Bitter and St Austell Tribute - the latter was a good pint. Worth an afternoon of anybodies time. Booze_Allen - 5 Jun 2010 15:42
Also agree that the very negative comment below doesn't sound like this pub. There is a TV but it's not on very often and I don't think the landlord would subscribe to a music channel (no satellite here -- which is a good point for many). The Swan does consistently good beer -- St. Austell Tribute and Adnams Bitter. It is a good village pub that does good pub food, has a nice log fire and is well worth a visit. charlie_m - 4 Oct 2008 21:08
That comment from evegeve can't be about this Swan. Much too lively! Staff appalling, though. DeepThought - 18 Jul 2008 15:09
Are you sure you've got the right Swan? Doesn't sound like the same pub to me! E17Bee - 16 Aug 2006 16:20
