Well went last night saw a band playing The Petals, extremely well rehearsed and obviously believed in the music that they were playing.
Unfortunately I was in the minority in enjoying their set (reminiscent of radiohead and early joy division)which was cut short mainly due to narrow minded patrons more used to bands doing covers of standard pop objecting. A great pity. Would recommend The Petals unfortunately my previous endorsement of the Seamus was premature very very disappointing.

Well very pleasently suprised, Saturdays have been given back to the nusic, and the yoof have relocated so it will again be possible to find somewhere in Potters Bar where you can listen to live music and imbibe a few jars in the process.
Contrary to previous reports found the doormen friendly and look forward to lots more good old rocking swturday nights.

i ws surprised to be charged 3 pounds by the cocky bouncers after 10pm.The pub was full of teenagers and i couldn't get my money back. Are they allowed to charge for this?

Boring night out, same faces, same attitude with kiddies running around with hoods on outside. Quite expensive for a pint and the pool room gets over crowded. Try to avoid.
