the food is amazing home made by SARAH. looks like it needs a make over! and the owner ROSE KNIGHT needs a face transplant! she is miserable and snappy... therefore i wouldnt rate this pub as a friendly place to go... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

An old fashioned, very friendly pub. The prices are extremely reasonable, with large portions of food too. I hadn't been here before, but I'll remember to stop by next time I'm passing through the area. 7/10

This pub has been totally turned round by its NEW OWNERS Scott & Rose - I can not recommend this pub highly enough, food is really good with lots of choice & at reasonable prices. Beer is still as good as ever - The new landlord Scott & Rose always make you feel welcome.

A great pub - you need to try it for yourselves !!!

beer kept very well, cheap 50p pool table and nice snacks at lunch. used to get a few legends in from the factory on beers, alas those days are gone

Used to be a fabulous food pub, new owner has destroyed it, if you want a sunday carvery be there as soon as doors open as they only do enough meat for about ten meals. The beers good though!!!
