All changed for the better under new management. I hear that a new manager has recently taken over and after a recent visit seems to be doing a good job. I read the negative things on here but gave the place a chance and whilst it is a Harvester, it still retains some of it's country style pub. There is a real log fire in the cosy bar and the service was good. Low beems in the bar so beware if you're tall. The ribs were nice and the salad is a bonus. Will definately go back and recomend to friends.

My husband had gammon. he loves his gammon. I spent most of my time at the free salad bar, ask for a couple of bowls to really utilise the "free salad". will be back soon.

Still not really a pub, try the old Vicarage, accross the road and to the west a bit.

This is a Harvester Restaurant these days. Not really a drinking hole – no real ales at all!
