user reviews of the Bryndale, Bircotes

Worst pub I have been in for years. I went for a drink with my sister and bother in law last week. The bryndale is very unfriendly obviouly for locals only with some very odd rude locals who asked us to move out of their regular seats! Not our turf so to keep the pease we moved reluctantly when they became more agressive towards us, but after they got their seats they just staired at us the whole evening trying to intimidate us. Its obviously a benefit funded pub with shameless loudmouths at the bar bragging about the housing benefit scam they have going with their uncle....nice folk....kids were running wild late into the evening screening. Some of the locals like riding quad bikes through the pub garden and others youngster s in cars just hanging out in the carpark wheel spinning up the road in and out the carpark like idiots. Kids unchecked were pulling tree branches off the trees and throwing them in the main road outside the pub. Before the night was out 3 women decided to have a raging bitching match which continued outside the pub for 15-20 minutes before moving on all the way down the street. Scum..had to keep checking on the car as their is too much activity going on in the carpark. Before we finally left my sister who was driving had some idiot decide to stand in front of the car blocking the way gesturing as if he wanted a fight with his arms out wide just looking at the car like a right pleb. Then proceeded to walk in the main streets road shouting and swearing.

The Byrndale is a very nice local pub with friendly staff, a function room with pool and darts. It is the ideal pub for an evening drink with a lady friend or a night out with the lads.
