had occasion to go in there for a meal with a friend, very busy (aren't all wetherspoons?) so had to wait ages at the bar. Took order for two steaks with peppercorn sauce. 5 mins later the waiter came out to say that there was no peppercorn sauce! When meal finally arrived it was served with chips and peas. No tomatoes or mushrooms. When I asked where they were I was told they had run out! Why the hell didn't they just take the steak off the menu. Meal was awful, peas weren't cooked, just defrosted and luke warm. Chips weren't up to much either. The three complimentary onion rings (for having no mushrooms or tomatoes) tasted of cooking oil. Altogether an awful expereince!

A JD Weatherspoons pub, very lively on weekends, spacious, but as usual, you have to make your own entertainment.
