| A couple who want to run the pub as a proper pub have offered to buy it from the developers. We can all hope that they sell it to them saying as the council have killed the planning permission. anonymous - 16 Nov 2007 22:09 |
| It seems that the planning application to build flats was thrown out. It has been reported that Eldridge Pope (owned of course by Marstons) now intend to renovate the place and reopen it a Brewers Fayre-type restaurant. BillyD - 24 Oct 2007 09:20 |
