| This pub has been great since Dave and Yvonne took it over earlier this year. They really want to make it friendly and welcoming place to go and have recently started doing a carvery on Sundays which is something that has been missing for a while now. | Well I wish I'd stayed at home last Saturday night or gone somewhere else, sadly I made a mistake and went for a few drinks with friends at the "Nazi Party HQ Catcliffe", formerley known as the Waverley! | Sadly the Waverley is steadily getting the reputation as the local BNP party headquarters! I know people who prefer to stay clear of this pub because of this. Another meeting has just been held there in the family room, not very appropriate I think, customers had to put up with the usual "security/bodyguards" (Fatmen in Black), wandering around watching people and visually checking them out as they entered the premises! Not a very pleasant experience I have to say, not when you've come out for a quiet pint!
