Attractive old pub that Greene King look to have invested a bit of money in. Nice outside beer garden at the rear and an interesting snug at the back of the pub. Just GK IPA and Sundance which was decent enough if served a little warm. Millay - 3 Aug 2008 23:12
Had food in here recently and it's OK, you get what you pay for so good value. awehla - 14 May 2008 14:18
One of the best pubs in Luton (there aren't many good ones). Has a cosy quiet feel to it, prices are around £2.50 to keep away the riff-raff. Friendly bar staff on my visit. anonymous - 7 Sep 2006 18:26
We used to go in here because it has a nice enough atmosphere and you can get a seat. Also the music was OK. Now the music is a bit dancy and it can get quite crowded at times. Also sometimes seems like there is a lot more men in there than women - so good for women on the pull I guess. Mixed crowd - some oldies and young people together. The garden is really nice in summer. The food used to be good but has gone downhill a bit. Would definitely recommend it in summer though. Still go there now since it is one of the nicer and less teeny bopper pubs. awehla - 20 Mar 2006 13:38
I can't believe it hasn't been listed before. Lovely pint of real ale, nice garden, and my favourite barmaid (sshhh!). The best Luton Town Centre pub, IMHO. Opposite University, so slightly studenty at end of term, and, due to location, probably best avoided Friday, Saturday nights if you're an old git like me, like all the others. Not their fault though. Smelfungus - 18 Aug 2005 12:42
