| A good place to go for lunch if you are over 30. too young a crowd in the evenings but thats fair enough .Their meal deals are very good value. They did a veggy menu specials board for a limited time. Should have kept it as a permanent offer as I, along with my family, are all vegetarian!. They serve Harveys which is real beer unlike all the other mass produced stuff they call beer.Their offer of £4.95 for a bottle of wine is great. A very reasonable price instead of silly money most pubs charge. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. A good place to go for a quiet lunch at a very reasonable price. | At night primarily an under 25's pub - which is fine. Popular at lunchtime with shoppers/mums etc. Always get the feeling that this place is slightly undemanned all the time, hence crap beer and stress getting served in the evening. Must be making money at the mo, which not all pubs are. WAKE UP and staff it properly. raveydavey - 4 Sep 2009 15:54 |

| Visit this pub 2 or 3 times a week for lunch and have never had a bad experience. 2 of the girls who work most of the lunches have always been friendly and the food is always great, especially the breakfasts. Come in on the weekend sometimes too and the place is definitley younger but still a good mix of people and always a good night. ianhorselee - 22 Jul 2009 14:29 |
