| Did the walk from Tring Station to Leighton Buzzard on 29th December 2007. A bit muddy in places but really hugely enjoyable in almost perfect winter walking weather. Was surprised that there is no mention of the pub in Ivinghoe Aston, The Village Swan. We were given a good welcome by the new owners and served a really excellent sunday lunch. The vegetables were outstanding. I understand that it has fairly recently changed hands and can only suppose that the previous owners were not very walker friendly. Hatfield - 31 Dec 2007 10:29 |
| Bright and clean with tasty food and decent beer. Run by the village as a sort of cooperative and owned by a large number of local residents, the staff were cheerful and welcoming.
