| We have eaten here on numerous occasions and like many others had a good meal each time. The food is good the landlord is a character but does make sure you enjoy your meal. Definatly worth a visit. ChrisRichards - 26 Sep 2007 21:36 |
| Visited many times and never disappointed by the food and service. Both excellent. Prices are more restaurant than pub but then so is the food! Decor pleasant and interesting. Service friendly. These guys do work hard to make sure they get it right. Varied menu. Location is lovely and the view from the front window is of a row of cute thatched cottages. Only let down is the fact that it serves only Greene King ales (ugh!). They should address this but then are probably (sadly) tied to Greene King who are fiercely opposed to guest ales as they show just how bad their product has become over the years. brachwodd - 20 Oct 2006 22:33 |
| Visited on a Sunday evening,locality and setting are lovely;very picture postcard. Good,friendly service, food and wine menu definitely more restaurant than pub and the prices reflect this. Food was good but would probably choose to eat in a restaurant and settle for a drink here. Sunday lunches however seem to be very popular and you need to book.They seem to have lots of entertainment as well with various quiz/music nights. anonymous - 13 Sep 2006 15:41 |

| Nice enough pub if you're ever in the area. The food is good and the staff are friendly enough. My only complaint is the lack of range of real ales. Apart from that a well worth while pub to visit. Keir - 28 Nov 2005 12:59 |
