| This little pub on Sherburn Terrace brews it,s own award winning beers. White Hot at 4% with a grapefruit finish was good but the Red Dust at 4.5% a dark red beer was my favourite. Friendly Landlady and locals. A beer festival on August Bank Holiday weekend. hartlepool - 6 Aug 2008 12:44 |
| Cycled here from CHESTER-LE-STREET last year with my brother in law. We were both suitably impressed with the pub, the food, the staff, the beer, the plans for the brewery, the food, the atmosphere and the food. | Nice small and friendly. Caters towards your real ale and whiskey drinker - other drinks can be a tad on the expensive side. Can get hot and busy at the weekends so arrive early to guarantee a seat. Otherwise, bring a deckchair and/or a coat for sitting outside. Had many a pleasent evening in here.
