not a pub, just a cafe winebar with surly staff, shouldn't be on this site at all

No real ales, but a fair selection of wines. Mainly an eating place rather than a bar.
Opposite the Mayflower Theatre, so popular with theatre goers.
Maybe a little pricey, but the building is very nice and it's been fairly tastefully renovated.

im afraid i have to disagree with Doctor Evil.
Great place, fantastic food and atmosphere. one of the very few places not invaded by the loud and drunk student of southampton. ideal for catching up with people as you can talk with out the loud music. staff are polite and friendly. would definitely recommend it.

This place is certainly punching well above its height. If it wasn't for the theatre, it would be dead.

This bar is in a converted church close to Southampton Central station and the Mayflower Theatre.

A pleasant place to drink but it perhaps sees itself as more upmarket than it is and is a little pricey. Much of its custom is made up of theatregoers.

The downstairs is the main drinking area and the upstairs is the eating area.
