| Changed hands recently, and signs looked positive with good guest ales (notably Hopback Summer Lightning, which I adore) and much-improved food. And then, and then, one of the bar staff short-changed me (to the tune of a fiver!) and wouldn't admit his mistake. | A pleasant pub with a nice mix of locals from the village and students from the nearby university. They usually have a couple of nice ales on, and always have cheap deals on for lager or bitter. The food is also pretty good. alistair_cross - 7 Jul 2005 15:30 |
