| This place was quite friendly on my last visit and the Old Speckled Hen was very drinkable. Other guest beers were available on tap and this is now getting noticed by discerning drinkers around the town and beyond. | One of the better pubs in Poulton. A bit dank inside but interestingly decorated (The ceiling has a sort of cistine chapel thing going on). Decent Jukebox as well-Led Zepellin, Black Sabbath etc. One of the more down to earth pubs in Poulton-the place to go if you want to avoid the crowds of young professional wannabes that usually infest Poulton at the weekend.
