It seems Ray Kindel is determined to knock this loveley old pub down, he has applied, yet again, to AVDC, to demolish it and build 2 houses. This country needs more free houses not less, If he can't be assed to run it as a pub then he should sell it to someone who will. economist - 4 Oct 2011 13:29
Excellent, friendly pup and the beer's not bad too! It would be disaster if this were to pulled down and changed into houses! Jandas - 14 Sep 2011 14:47
Good news .... the Planning Inspectorate have refused the owner, Ray Kindel's appeal to demolish the pub and build houses. It may stay a pub yet! ..... Lets hope, if he does not want to run it as a pub anymore, he will now sell it to someone who does. economist - 2 Sep 2011 14:26
I thought a nice day out of the bustle of London in the country would be a good idea, so me & my two sons went to Aston Clinton as it was a lovely summers evening.Met up with an old friend Welsh Mike ,he left early said something about Morris coming seemed a bit scared and left.A little while later some cars pulled up these guys got out carrying batons,(I taught of the Clockwork orange incident). I was completely wrong they were Morris dancers from Whitchurch done a great gig. Lovely friendly pub nice people great beer tdrwoodford - 16 Jun 2011 18:57
