Visted 9 Jun 05. Just a flying visit, as we were on our way to York. Nice little village local on the green. Complete with Morris Men. Four real ales on offer, we had Timothy Taylor Landlord, as always a joy. Staff were friendly enough. The walls of the local bar were adorned with RAF and RCAF memorabilia.

We decided to give it another longer visit a couple of days later, on a Saturday. The place was now very busy. My advice if you choose to eat, is be very hungry. The food is both very tasty and comes in generous portions. Have the surf'n'turf, no other pub meal will ever match up to this.
