Some people do not know when they are on to a good thing!!! Are you sure you were not in the wrong pub??. We had a lovely time in the Jolly Sailor Hemington recently. The landlord was an absolute star, making us feel extremely welcome whilst being busy seeing to all his other customers. All the members of staff were extremely pleasant. The food was to die for, heavenly as was the ale!. We would highly recommend this pub and will definately be going back soon.

This pub used to be the best around for miles - regularly highly placed by CAMRA but unfortunately, since being bought out by Greene King, its nothing like it was. Poor landlord (if you ever see him) and poor selection of not very well kept ales. Food is now microwave stuff and hit and miss as to whether its available. Many 'regulars' now de-camped to the Crown at Cavendish Bridge, just a couple of minutes away. Very, very sad.

Excellent, friendly, local pub, just off the A50 and M1, and very close to Nottingham East Midlands Airport - not though you'd notice.

This pub serves an excellent range of ever-changing real ales, from local micros and national breweries. Food is served Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes that is both homemade, excellent quality and very good value.

The pub itself is a converted farmhouse in the village and has a pleasant beer garden out front.
