| Great homecooked food with no 'pinging' from the kitchen and excellent value. Beer is well cared for and well chosen. Staff friendly and the whole place is a proper pub with no fancy new decor, music, play areas, or geegaws getting in the way of a cosy down to earth pub. Gab - 29 Oct 2010 12:45 |
| Popped in here Friday evening having taken a wrong turn somewhere in Yate and very glad we did! Great find, proper pub with 2 bars, had a half of Theakstons Black Bull Bitter which was fairly enjoyable.
