| Just visited the White Heart in Cheddar, The Hobgoblin was off..... barmaid said she would see the landlord, so I got a pint of Old Speckled hen which was good. No sign of the landlord, until he came past collecting glasses, I mentioned the beer was off and he replied, "Yes I know I have just changed it" at which point he took the full pint, and didn't return! | Went in August this year during a day-trip to cheddar. Had a nice pint, a good meal, a bowl of water for the dog, and some toys for the kids to play with whilst waiting for lunch. Service was good, and the ploughmans was above average. Think the ale was waddy's six x, very drinkable. We had parked miles up the hill so didn't have to worry about the parking.
