Rather unmemorable pub post watching the cricket. Beer was reasonable but can't remember what it was. Very popular though.

Pub was OK and enjoyed a decent pint of Landlord until changed for Fellows bitter which although as murky as the Trent, the rude sodding barman made a total fuss about changing telling me it was supposed to be cloudy. I suppose that's why this place is deservedly not recommended in CAMRA's beer guide.

One of those rare CAMRA recommended pubs that has a good atmosphere as opposed to to having 6 old men staring into their beer in complete silence.{CAMRA note, some of us like Sky TV and music as well as good beer].Excellent service and attractive staff, especially the girl doing the food with the tight trousers.

Tried one of their own beers and a couple of guests at this canalside pub. Beer reasonably priced and so was the food.
